Once upon a time, long, long ago (two years actually) there were two worlds, co-existing separately and happily in the universe of visual communications. Suddenly, out of nowhere, there exploded on the scene a piece of equipment, the Canon 5D, that changed everything and put these worlds on a collision course. What's to happen?

- Can the two different business models co-exist ?
- What do you tell the client when you are asked to do both, but only do one?
- What do clients expect when they ask one person to do both?
- Is it really cheaper to hire one person to do it all?
- Can both be done well by one person?
- Should you even try to do both?
- How do we do both stills and video without devaluing both?
- How is licensing handled when you do both?
- What does it really cost?
- How do you switch your brain from still to motion?
- On set, are you the photographer, the DP, the director...or what?
- When there's a video crew and a still photographer on set, what's the pecking order?
- Will we all be still/motion hybrids five years from now?
